PrivatePlus Mortgage adds Max Stone to management team

PrivatePlus Mortgage, a division of National Bank of Commerce, continues its growth and expansion with the creation of a new position and the addition of a new team member. Veteran mortgage banker and Brookhaven resident Max Stone has been named Vice President and Mortgage Production Manager.

“Max’s consultative approach, 20 years of experience and deep knowledge of the industry help ensure that our clients connect with the mortgage that best suits their needs,” says Dixon Sewell, Senior Vice President and Regional Manager for PrivatePlus.

The lifelong Georgian holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of West Georgia. He was previously a Branch Manager with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. Stone is well-versed in a host of mortgage options, especially new construction, Jumbo loans and mortgages for self-employed individuals. He has won multiple awards through the Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia.

“Borrowers need to really have a connection with their loans officer and have trust in them, and that’s the kind of relationship I like to foster,” he says. “Communication between mortgage pros and their clients is crucial in having a smooth closing.”

When he is not helping families realize their dream of homeownership, Stone enjoys attending his three children’s sporting events, spending time at the lake with them and running.
