A group of excited young women found their perfect prom dresses Thursday night at the Buckhead Thriftique.

The 15 young women felt like princesses as they left with free dresses and shoes. Without the service, many of the girls might not have been able to attend their proms, according to an announcement from the thrift store, run by

Buckhead Thriftique gives free clothing to the homeless and people in need. The store is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m.  to 4 p.m. and is located at 800 Miami Circle, Suite 160. 

The store accepts donations of clothing, shoes, household items, electronics, and books during regular business hours. A tax receipt will be provided. Products include designer clothing from such labels as Prada, Gucci and Armani as well as name brands like Ann Taylor, J Crew, Free people and Brooks Brothers.
