Question Before Georgia Supreme Court: What's the Value of a Dog?
A popular Buckhead dog kennel is facing charges that its responsible for the death of a canine under its care.

ATLANTA, GA -- The Georgia Supreme Court is hearing arguments today that a popular dog day care facility -- with a location in Buckhead -- is responsible for the death of a canine under its care.
Lola, an 8-year-old Dachshund, died shortly after a two-week stay at Barking Hound Village, reports the AJC. the dog died from renal failure, and her owners claim the kennel was responsible.
Barking Hound Village’s owners, however, say they had nothing to do with the dog’s death. Their second argument is that a pet is a piece of property, and that the value of the dog was, monetarily, nothing.
