Quick-Hit Robbery of Clothing Store Caught on Video

ATLANTA, GA β€” To get tips from the public about an armed robbery at a local clothing store, Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta posted a video of the heist Wednesday on YouTube.

The robbery occurred at about 4:35 p.m. Saturday, July 9, at the Labels store in the 3200 block of Paces Ferry Place NW, according to a post on the Crime Stoppers Facebook page. The 29-second YouTube video shows how the pair of suspects walked into the Buckhead store and stole cash and high-end designer handbags.

Both suspects are described by police as black males who wore white T-shirts, dark blue jeans and black masks that covered their faces and necks.

  • The first suspect carried a handgun, and he's described as about 6 feet 1 inch to 6 feet 3 inches tall, with a solid build.
  • The second suspect carried a brown suitcase and is described as between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall, with a slim build.

In the YouTube video, the first suspect brandishes a handgun as he enters the store, while the second suspect enters with the suitcase. The store's employees and customers get on the floor or flee to the back of the business.

The first suspect then goes around the counter and grabs cash from the register, while the second suspect seizes name-brand handbags from a top shelf and other bags from the back of the store. The two then leave the store together.
