Scalise Sisters Plan 4th Annual Strides for Survivors on 2/1/20

Event has raised more than $25,000 for the unique nonprofit TurningPoint Breast Cancer Rehabilitation since its inception in 2017

Strides for Survivors, a 2.7 mile charity walk around Chastain Park's PATH started and organized by three sisters: Samantha, Lauren, and Emilie Scalise, will take place for the fourth time on Saturday, February 1, 2020. Check-in and registration begin at 10:30, opening ceremonies take place at 11:15 am. and the walk begins at 11:30 a.m. The start and finish for the walk will take place at the Galloway School, located at 215 Chastain Park Ave. NW 30342.

The walk is a fundraising event for the nonprofit TurningPoint Breast Cancer Rehabilitation (myturningpoint.org), the only nonprofit of its kind in metro Atlanta, supporting breast cancer patients of all backgrounds in their respective roads to a full recovery by providing services such as physical therapy, massage therapy, emotional support, exercise classes, and education programs. TurningPoint, located at 8100 Roswell Road in Sandy Springs, has served more than 4,500 patients since it was founded in 2003.

The Scalise sisters chose TurningPoint as the beneficiary because of the impact TurningPoint had on their mother Stephanie during her breast cancer journey. They wanted to give back to an organization that had done so much for their mother.
