  1. The Buckhead Community Improvement District is reminding residents that the 2022 State of Buckhead Survey will close on Sunday, September 25 and that input should be submitted by then. (Free: Buckhead Community Improvement District Facebook)
  2. A white Range Rover SUV was spotted engulfed in flames near Peachtree Street and Collier Road on Thursday night. Fortunately, the driver made it out of the car alive. The fire department is still working to determine the cause of the fire. (Free: Yahoo News)
  3. On behalf of Mayor Andre Dickens, Atlanta Chief Operating Officer Lisa Gordon asserted that a Buckhead secession would be a travesty for Atlantans. Atlanta City Council Member Howard Shook, whose district includes a part of Buckhead, also alleged that Mayor Dickens has been paying attention to the needs of Buckhead residents. Both Shook and Gordon made their statements in response to District 7 Council Member Mary Norwood, who represents the majority of Buckhead and who recently asserted that the City of Atlanta government had been neglecting the residential district of Buckhead.
