Southern Art and Bourbon Bar to Celebrate National Fried Chicken Day All Week Long

Begin your Fourth of July celebrations the right way with Southern Art and Bourbon Bar, as the restaurant will be offering a variety of specials and feature menu items all week long to celebrate National Fried Chicken Day! To kick off the festivities, families and friends heading to see Lenox Square’s Legendary Fourth of July firework show on Monday, July 4, are invited to stop by Southern Art, as the restaurant will be offering special fried chicken sliders during dinner hours to celebrate the Fourth of July. Guests who dine-in at Southern Art on Wednesday, July 6, during either lunch or dinner can enjoy a complimentary basket of chef Art Smith’s signature buttermilk fried chicken. Also beginning on Wednesday, July 6, and running through Sunday, July 10, guests can “make-your-own-fried-chicken.” Diners can choose from a variety of different flavors of fried chicken batter to be paired with a sauce and two signature sides of choice. Batter flavors to choose from include: lemon pepper; rosemary garlic; red velvet; chipotle (spicy); and house fried chicken. Continuing on to Thursday, July 7, up to 20 people have the opportunity to join chef de cuisine Tonya Morris for a fried chicken cooking class, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. The cost is $35 per person and reservations can be made by calling the restaurant at 404.946.9070. Following the cooking class, guests are invited to dine with Southern Art during lunch and enjoy specialty fried chicken with the restaurant’s delicious twelve layer red velvet cake for dessert. To wrap up a week of delicious fried chicken, Southern Art will be offering fried chicken and waffle corn dogs during brunch from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. to all dine-in customers on Sunday, July 10, as well as a family style fried chicken menu all day Sunday.
