State Trooper Hit By Suspected Drunk Driver in Buckhead
The Georgia State patrolman is recovering from minor injuries.

ATLANTA, GA -- A Georgia State Patrol patrolman suffered minor injuries overnight when his vehicle was struck in Buckhead by a suspected drunk driver.
It happened outside the Ivy Lounge near the intersection of Roswell and Piedmont roads, reports 11 Alive.
Police say the officer was pulling out of the parking lot when his vehicle was T-boned by the driver of a black sedan. The driver reportedly thought he had a green light, but there appear to be no traffic signals in the area.
