Suspicious Person Arrested Outside Buckhead School
The 23-year-old man slightly injured an Atlanta police officer during a struggle on Monday.

Atlanta police arrested a suspicious person who was reported outside a Buckhead school on Monday.
According to police spokesman Ralph Woolfolk, officers responded to a 911 call about a man wielding what appeared to be a knife outside Pace Academy. The 23-year-old man became agitated when police arrived and he threw the object, determined to be a wand, at them.
Woolfolk said that the man fought with officers as they tried to detain him, cutting one of the officers on the hand. After the man was safely in custody, the injured officer was treated at the scene and did not require transport to the hospital.
