Suspicious Substance Reported in East Point: News Near Buckhead

A white powder was mailed to an office park on Camp Creek Parkway; a second package from the same sender contained aspirin.

Atlanta fire personnel are working with East Point police officers to handle a suspicious substance call at an East Point office park on Tuesday.

According to WSB-TV, a worker inside a mailroom at the office park at 3800 Camp Creek Parkway opened an envelope filled with a white powdery substance and exposed two other people to the substance.

A second package from the same sender was intercepted en route to its destination, WSB-TV said. Upon opening this package, the contents inside were determined to be aspirin.
