"Paint the Town Blue" is Company's Annual Worldwide Founders' Day of Service

On May 6, 2015, Turner Construction employees in Atlanta joined forces with partners around the world in a day of community service. More than 60 Atlanta Turner volunteers worked at Piedmont Park and at Action Ministries in honor of the company’s 113th anniversary and its long history of community engagement.

Turner employees worldwide organized volunteer and community partnership efforts under the umbrella of the company’s “Paint the Town Blue” initiative.

  • In Buckhead, Turner volunteers made and bagged 1,000 lunches and snack packs for children at Action Ministries, an organization that focuses on helping Georgians with hunger relief, housing and education. http://actionministries.net/
  • Turner employees headed to Piedmont Park in Midtown, where they assisted with a range of general maintenance projects around the lake, playgrounds and athletic areas. http://www.piedmontpark.org
