ATLANTA — Atlanta Police are searching for two suspects who police say car-jacked an Uber driver early Monday morning and then sped away with the man’s car.

The incident took place just before 12:30 a.m. in the 3800 block of Northside Drive NW. The Uber driver, who was in a 2018 silver Nissan sedan with Florida plates, arrived to pick up a passenger.

When the driver arrived, a man in the driveway of the residence said had not ordered a rideshare. As the driver started to pull away, two suspects — one of which had a handgun — demanded the driver get out of his car and then stole the car, police said.
