Uber Driver Robbed in Buckhead

Atlanta police are looking for three men they say robbed an Uber driver and his passenger at gunpoint in Buckhead early Thursday morning.

Angel Arias had just picked up two people from Cirque at approximately 4:30 a.m. when a car began tailgating them. The car slightly tapped Arias’ rear bumper, and Arias pulled over to inspect the damage.

That’s when three armed men came out of the car and robbed both Arias and his passengers, WSB-TV reports.

Police told WSB-TV the best way to avoid being caught in a similar situation is to only pull over in well-lit, busy areas and then call police after you’re parked.
