Virtual good deed challenge begins next week!

During the holidays, a lot of us find ourselves in the giving mood, but we don't always know how to put that desire into action. At Community Bucket, we wanted to give Atlanta the easiest way to do good this season and wrap up 2013 with a fun, impactful and unique opportunity.

All of us, at some point or another, have probably participated in some type of scavenger hunt or race, and it was probably a lot of fun. That's why we came up with the idea for our first-ever Week of Good. It will kick off next Monday, December 2nd at 12am when we release 25 'good deed challenges' for people all over Atlanta. The competition will end at 5pm on Friday, December 6th, at which point we will 'crown' the top 5 do-gooders and award some awesome prizes. You can even win prizes just by completing a few of the challenges, so there's no pressure to complete it all (although, we won't be stopping you...) The one catch is, it will all take place over social media...

In case the 'virtual do-gooding' isn't all you seek (we're about socializing, after all) Community Bucket will be wrapping up the week with a large tree-planting event on Saturday, December 7th. As always, we will follow up the service project with a social event at Whitehall Tavern. You can learn more and register here. This is the best way to meet new people in the city!

Are you ready to spread some good around Atlanta next week?
