Waterline Installation to Close Buckhead Intersection
Work begins Friday night and should be completed early Monday morning, GDOT says.

Weather permitting, Georgia DOT contractors will begin installing a waterline at Northside Drive and Collier Road. The work will require the intersection to close and a traffic detour will be erected to help motorists get around the area.
The lane closure and traffic detour will begin at 9 p.m., Friday, October 2 and end at 5 a.m., Monday, October 5.

Traffic detours will be in place from all approaches. Signs and message boards will in place to guide motorists traveling in the area. Motorists are advised to use extreme caution while driving through the work zone.
