Whole Foods Market Buckhead Selects the CPC as the Beneficiary for its 5% Day

Whole Foods Market Buckhead has selected the Chastain Park Conservancy to be the beneficiary of its 5% day. On Tuesday, June 30, all net sales at Whole Foods Market Buckhead will go to support the CPC’s health promoting programs such as Play Chastain and Farm Chastain.

Whole Foods Market’s motto—Whole Foods, Whole People, Whole Planet — emphasizes that their vision reaches beyond food retailing to help support the health, well-being, and healing of people, organizations and the planet. “We are honored they have selected us for 5% day and acknowledged our similar missions in making the environment healthier and safer for all,” said Rosa McHugh, Executive Director of the Chastain Park Conservancy.

Founded in 2004, the Chastain Park Conservancy (CPC) is a volunteer, not-for-profit, organization whose mission is to restore, enhance, maintain and preserve Chastain Park. The CPC’s volunteer program provides over 12,000 hours annually in order to keep the park clean, safe and green.
