Winter Weather Affects Buckhead Private Schools' Tuesday Opening Times

Students who attend two private schools in Buckhead will be able to get up a little later than normal on a Tuesday morning due to the winter weather bearing down on Atlanta.

FOX 5 Atlanta reports that Pace Academy and the Atlanta International School will be delaying their opening this morning as a result of wintry conditions predicted by the National Weather Service. Pace Academy students will report to class at 10 a.m., while Atlanta International School students will start school at 10:30 a.m.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the area which will not expire until 11 a.m., and predicts that Buckhead’s streets could see almost a half an inch of sleet by sunrise.
