Your Next Celebrity Sightings: Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Pratt, Jennifer Garner

Everybody is seeing big stars in the summer blockbusters. Here in Atlanta, we’ll be seeing several of them in person this summer.

Project Casting notes that ”Passengers,” a big-budget space movie starring Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence, will begin filming soon in Atlanta.

Don’t expect too many other co-stars. The plot revolves around a passenger on a colony spaceship awakening from his sleep chamber nearly 100 years before anyone else on the ship. He eventually awakens a second passenger.

They’re not the only big names in town. Jennifer Garner will be in Atlanta for her next film, according to the AJC.

Based on the bestselling book, “Miracles From Heaven” is about a sick girl who has a miraculous recovery after a car accident.

This spring, Michael Keaton made headlines when he caught a ballgame while shooting in the area. And Tom Cruise was spotted several times while filming his next picture, “Mena.”
