• Meet the Gwinnett County teachers of the year for 2028 (thegeorgiasun.com) — Gwinnett County Public Schools has named more than 150 local Teachers of the Year for 2028, including honorees at schools that serve Buford families like Lanier High, Lanier Middle, and Sugar Hill Elementary. These educators now move into a multi-stage process that will ultimately select one countywide Teacher of the Year, who may go on to represent Georgia at the state level.
