• Buford, Lanier students join Gwinnett Green Youth Advisory Council (northgwinnettvoice.com) — Buford High School senior Julia Yoon will again represent Buford on Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful's 2026-27 Green Youth Advisory Council, helping lead local sustainability projects and cleanups. Alongside students from Lanier and other Gwinnett schools, she'll design environmental programs for her campus and community, volunteer at major county recycling events this fall, and become eligible for service hours and environmental scholarships.
