• Man accused of sexually assaulting teen who missed school bus staying in jail (wsbtv.com) — A Cherokee County judge has ordered a man accused of sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl to remain in jail without bond after charges including aggravated child molestation and trafficking. Investigators say he picked the teen up along Hickory Road, drove her to a location in Canton, assaulted her, and later left her near the school.
