• GA Woman Remains Missing In Nepal Amid Floods That Have Killed 900+: Reports (patch.com) — Canton residents are anxiously awaiting news about Mary Sorensen, a local woman missing in Nepal after catastrophic floods and landslides that have killed hundreds and left thousands unaccounted for. Sorensen, last heard from on Aug. 25 while on a pilgrimage, is among at least 85 missing Americans, as rescuers struggle to reach trapped workers and communities across the Nepal-China border.
