• Metro Atlanta man sentenced to four life terms plus 120 years for child sex abuse (wsbtv.com) — A Cherokee County man has been sentenced in Canton to four consecutive life terms plus 120 years for repeatedly sexually abusing a young girl over several years. The case began with a Canton Police Department investigation in 2018 and ended with a jury conviction on 18 serious charges, bringing closure and a sense of justice for the victim and the community.
