Cherokee Among GA's Healthiest Counties

1. A study released Tuesday found that Cherokee County is the fourth-healthiest county in Georgia. The study, a collaboration between the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, considered health behavior, clinical care, social and economic factors, and physical environment. Starting April 24, the Diabetes Support Group at Northside Hospital-Cherokee will meet from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Northside Hospital-Cherokee’s Education Department, Oakside Office Park, 130-B Oakside Court, Canton.  Meetings are free. 4. Canton will host the at 1 p.m. Saturday in downtown's Cannon Park. There will be music, games, prizes and photo opportunities with the Easter bunny.
