Over A Dozen New Business License Applications in Cherokee
Eighteen businesses applied for a license in our county between May 16-24.

With last week's report from the Georgia Department of Labor that the unemployment rate in Cherokee County is slowly working its way down below six percent, it seems that the economy in the county may finally be returning to "normal."
Further proof of this recovery can be seen in the number of applications for business licenses in the county. Between May 16 and May 24, the county government received 18 business license applications.
