• 2 convicted of human trafficking in Carroll County (fox5atlanta.com) — A Carroll County jury has convicted a 57-year-old man on multiple human trafficking and child exploitation charges after Carrollton police found four runaway girls at a local hotel in 2019. Prosecutors say the girls were taken from Bowdon to the defendant's home and exploited over 24 hours; two co-defendants have already pleaded guilty, and sentencing for the main defendant is pending.
