1 Killed In Wreck Involving Tractor Trailer In Bartow County
The fatal collision was reported Saturday on Ga. 140 near Big Oak Tree Road just west of Adairsville.

ADAIRSVILLE, GA — One person died Saturday morning in a two vehicle crash involving a tractor trailer and passenger car in Bartow County.
Bartow County EMS and Fire Department personnel responded to the collision mid-morning June 23 on Highway 140 near Big Oak Tree Road just west of Adairsville. Bartow EMS Director Brandon Duncan said crews arrived and assessed the injured parties.
According to the Georgia State Patrol, a green Honda passenger car driven by Jason Manning of Plainville was traveling west on Ga. 140 negotiating a curve while a tractor trailer driven by Anisley Almedia of Norcross was going eastbound in the same area.

The Honda crossed the center line and collided head-on with the tractor trailer in the eastbound lane, GSP added.
Manning died at the scene of the crash. Almedia was transported to Gordon Hospital for treatment, said Bartow EMS Director Brandon Duncan. No other details have been provided at this time.
