2 Motorcyclists Killed In Head-On Collision
Witnesses told state troopers that the victims were speeding and jumping a hill crest before the crash occurred.

ADAIRSVILLE, GA -- Two men were killed early Wednesday evening in a head-on collision involving two motorcycles.
The Georgia State Patrol responded to the accident around 5:06 p.m. Sept. 21 along Wayside Road near its intersection with Veach Loop.
Initial reports indicate the two motorcycles crashed head-on while traveling in opposite directions "at a high rate of speed," the agency said.

The motorcyclists have been identified as Austin Baldwin, 20 and Timothy Redd, 22.
"Multiple witnesses at the crash scene advised that both males had been speeding, riding wheelies and jumping a hill crest at high speeds on the motorcycles prior to the crash," the state agency said, noting the posted speed limit at the crash site is 35 miles per hour.
