3 Arrested In Car Dealership Thefts in Cartersville
The thefts were reported Sunday, April 30 at Premier Auto Locators on Joe Frank Harris Parkway.
CARTERSVILLE, GA — Three Bartow County residents have been charged in connection to a burglary and theft at an auto dealership in Cartersville.
Premier Auto Locators at 1331 Joe Frank Harris Parkway was burglaries around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, April 30. During the burglary, two guns and the keys to several vehicles were taken from the establishment, the Bartow County Sheriff's Office said.
Sheriff's office investigators obtained surveillance footage from the business, and observed a subject get into a Jeep Wrangler for sale on the lot and drive away.

"A short time later the subject returned in the Jeep and left again," the sheriff's office added. "After another short time, the subject returned with the Jeep, walked around the lot and left again — this time driving off with a Chevrolet Silverado that belonged to the dealership."
The stolen Chevrolet was found abandoned at Parkway North at 1400 Joe Frank Harris Parkway, and officers recovered the vehicle.

On Monday May 1, Zachary Wolff and Tiffianey Wells, both of Cartersville, were arrested in possession of a gun and keys that had been taken during the burglary. Bartow County criminal investigators were able to develop leads pointing to another person, Cartersville resident Cedric Word, suspected of being involved in the incident.
After tracking down and taken Word into custody, he was interviewed on Wednesday, May 3 and charged with two counts of theft by taking of a motor vehicle.
Both Wolff and Wells are also charged with theft by receiving stolen property and obstruction. Wolff was aslso charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
