4 Charged With Vandalizing Property In Cartersville

The four suspects, including two juveniles, are accused of leaving a trail of orange spray paint in at least 3 subdivisions.

CARTERSVILLE, GA — Four people, including two juveniles, have been charged by Cartersville police after reports of vandalism in at least threes subdivisions surfaced last week.

The suspects are facing "multiple" criminal damage to property in the second degree charges after several areas were afflicted with orange spray paint around the city, said Cartersville police Lt. Mike Bettikofer.

Two adults charged are Cartersville residents Nichole Lane Sullivan and Demarcus Devon Davis, who were taken into custody last week. Davis is charged with seven counts of criminal damage to property in the second degree, interference with government property and possession of marijuana less than an ounce. He remains held at the Bartow County Jail with a $23,500 bond.

Sullivan is charged with seven counts of criminal damage to property in the second degree, and she also remains held at the Bartow County Jail with a $21,000 bond.

Lt. Bettikofer said affected areas around the city include the Waterford, Deerfield and Alexandria Landing subdivisions.

Anyone whose property was spray painted between 11 p.m. Thursday, June 7 and Friday, June 8 is asked to contact the Cartersville Police Department's Criminal Investigations Division at 770-607-6244 or call 770-382-2526 to file a police report.
