Bartow County Fourth of July Fireworks, Music, Weather Forecast

The annual Stars, Stripes and Cartersville celebration will be held July 4 while Adairsville Celebrates America is set for July 1.

CARTERSVILLE, GA -- Bartow County residents will have no shortage of events to celebrate Independence Day this year.

Perhaps the most well-known event around the county is the Stars, Stripes and Cartersville celebration, which will be held Tuesday, July 4 at Dellinger Park in Cartersville

Attendees can expect to take part in arts and crafts, children's activities, entertainment and, of course, the much-anticipated fireworks show.

The day's events will kick off at 2 p.m. at the park located at 100 Pine Grove Road and wrap up around 10 p.m. Admission is free, but parking will cost $5. The Century Bank of Georgia stage will be teaming with music all day, with Peachtree Station headlining the main concert at 8 p.m. The event will be topped off with its huge fireworks celebration, and residents are encouraged to bring a chair or blanket to snuggle up for the show.

Weather forecasts call for a chance of rain and thunderstorms Tuesday, but the National Weather Service says the best chances for storms will be between noon and 6 p.m. By Tuesday night, the chance of rain is 30 percent, and that will most likely happen before 7 p.m., letting fireworks displays go off as planned.

If you want to kick off your July 4th festivities during the weekend, then the inaugural Adairsville Celebrates America festival and fireworks event could be the perfect choice for you.

This first-ever celebration will be held from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, July 1 at Manning Mill Park at 163 Manning Mill Road in Adairsville.

Be sure to bring your lawn chair, fishing poles and appetite, as food vendors will be on hand providing necessary sustenance. Of course, you'll also be able to enjoy children's activities and live music. The fireworks show will begin at dark.

A patriotic concert will be held in conjunction with the local farmers market at 10 a.m. at the Train Depot Gazebo.
