5 Motorcyclists Hospitalized In Hwy. 411 Crash
Five motorcyclists were taken to area hospitals after numerous bikes crashed Saturday in the Cartersville area, officials said.

CARTERSVILLE, GA — Five motorcyclists were taken to area hospitals and Highway 411 was closed for a short time Saturday afternoon after numerous motorcycles were involved in a crash. The Bartow County Sheriff's Office says the accident occurred on Highway 411 just north of Interstate 75 shortly after noon.
Bartow County EMS sent three ambulances to the scene to treat multiple patients, two of whom suffered severe injuries. A man with abdominal and chest trauma with possible internal bleeding was flown to Grady Hospital, while a woman with a fractured pelvis was flown to Atlanta Medical Center.
Local ambulances took three other patients to Cartersville Medical Center for treatment. Numerous other motorcyclists involved in the accident refused to be taken to the hospital by ambulance.
