70 Arrested Following Cartersville Drug Investigation
BREAKING: The massive number of arrests were made after police responded early Sunday to a shots fired call at a home on Cain Drive.
CARTERSVILLE, GA -- Dozens of people were arrested overnight Sunday following a shots fired call in Cartersville. Officers were dispatched around 2:18 a.m. Dec. 31 to the report of gunshots at a home on Cain Drive, which is located off East Felton Road.
Little details have been made available by Cartersville police, other than to say evidence at the scene led to a drug investigation resulting in the arrest of 70 people.
"The investigation is currently ongoing and information will be released when available," Cartersville police spokesperson Lt. Mike Bettikofer said.
