8 Charged With Drug Possession During Warrant Sweep

CARTERSVILLE, GA — A warrant sweep conducted at a Cartersville apartment complex led to several individuals being arrested on various drug charges.

The operation was carried out Friday, July 27 by the Cartersville Police Department and the Bartow-Cartersville Drug Task Force at Mountain Chase apartments located off North Tennessee Street.

"Over the course of the last several months, the Cartersville Police Department observed an increase in calls for service in the area," the agency said.

Residents who were arrested and charged with narcotic-related offenses were:

• Cedric Lamar Jett Sr.: felony possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute
• Cedric Lamar Jett Jr.: misdemeanor possession of marijuana
• Tyjuan Jett: felony possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute
• Ronna Jett: possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute
• Fantasia Jett: felony possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute
• Marshenique Perdue: felony possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute
• Tina Knox Satterfield: felony possession of meth and misdemeanor possession of marijuana less than an ounce
• Nathan Isiah Woods: felony possession of meth and misdemeanor possession of marijuana less than an ounce

Bartow County Jail records show Woods, Satterfield and Cedric Lamar Jett Sr. all remain held at the facility without bond.
