A Place for Kids to Let Loose

, located at 402 E. Church St., is a great place for kids to run loose and have fun. In Cartersville for almost 3 years, the facility houses giant indoor inflatables, on which kids ages 12 and under can jump, bounce, slide and climb with reckless abandon.

The most popular feature at Bounce-N-Beans is the daily Open Jump during which time, for a small fee, children can play on the inflatables for as long as they want. Adults also love Open Jump because, according to manager Ashlee Clark, it provides an opportunity for parents and caregivers to tend to some of their own needs.

 “Adults can sit back and relax,” Clark said. “We have magazines, snacks, Wi-Fi and coffee available. Many adults bring books or do their work while they are here.”

Bounce-N-Beans is operated by a silent owner in Cobb County but Clark has been in charge of the day-to-day operations since the facility opened. One thing she prides herself on is cleanliness. While some indoor play areas are a breeding ground for germs, Bounce-N-Beans is not. Clark and her staff clean the inflatables with hospital grade cleaner and disinfect them multiple times a day.

“From what everyone says, this is the cleanest place around for kids to come in and play,” Clark said. “And with it climate controlled, its perfect for the summer and winter.”

Indeed, the facility is a popular choice for birthday parties and other events, such as field trips, church groups and mother’s groups. You can rent out the entire facility or incorporate your event into Open Jump hours with a party room dedicated to your group. Parties are scheduled for Fridays and weekends.

According to Clark, all birthday parties include invitations, set-up and clean-up, table covers, plates, napkins, forks, spoons and one juice box per child. They also provide a photo CD and the birthday child can make a stuffed animal.

Bounce-N-Beans also offers inflatable rentals during spring, summer and fall.

“We have three rentals,” Clark said. “The price is $200 for the whole day and that includes delivery, pick-up, set-up and clean-up. We have a Wall-E, Disney princess and a train.”

Open Jump is reasonably priced at just $7.99 for each child. Children under 2 are $3.99 and adults are free. Hours can sometimes vary depending on private events, so be sure to call ahead at 770-607-2262. The summer marks Free Admission Fridays. A free admission coupon will be issued for every regular priced admission (to be used on a later visit).
