Here are the top three stories in Cartersville today:

1. In the Bartow County School System, the 142 students enrolled in AP classes this school year tops the highest number ever recorded in Bartow County. That's nearly triple the number from 2017. College Board's AP program provides students with the opportunity to take college-level courses while still in high school. AP enrolled students, with successful performance on the AP exams administered in school, can earn college credit. (wbhfradio.org)
