Adairsville High School Named Site For Georgia Grown Test Kitchen
The program promotes local and healthy eating in schools across the state.

ADAIRSVILLE, GA -- A Bartow County high school will participate in a statewide kitchen test program that promotes local, healthy eating.
Adairsville High School will be the test site for the Georgia Department of Agriculture's Georgia Grown Test Kitchen Program for the 2016-17 school year, the Bartow County School Nutrition office said on its Facebook page.
The initiative is aimed at increasing awareness about the importance of proper nutrition and healthy eating. Specifically, the program will promote local and healthy eating in schools across the state through supplying school nutrition directors with healthy recipes using Georgia Grown commodities.
