Adairsville Police Investigate Stabbing of Two Men

The Adairsville Police Department is investigating the stabbing of two men in its jurisdiction.

According to The Daily Tribune News, the incident occurred around 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19 in a wooded area along Oakdale Drive near Martin Luther King Drive.

Adairsville Police Chief Arnold Gillman said one victim was stabbed in the back and another was stabbed in the leg. Both men, who police have not identified, were transported to Floyd Medical Center for treatment.

The chief told the newspaper ”neither subject is forthcoming” with information on the incident. A K-9 was brought into search the area, but no suspect has been identified, the Tribune reports.
