Advocate Brings Mission To Rescue Sex Trafficking Victims To Cartersville

CARTERSVILLE, GA -- A woman who works to rescue victims of sex trafficking will come to Cartersville next week and share her experiences.

Lisa Williams, founder and director of Living Water Center and Circle of Friends, will speak at Georgia Highlands College at 3:30 p.m. April 12 on the Cartersville campus in the Student Center, as a part of GHC’s promotion of Women’s History.

Williams will discuss her mission of helping girls and young women survivors of violence, street life, and human sex trafficking and exploitation. The event is free and open to the public.

The Circle for Friends and Living Water for Girls programs both provide therapeutic service, safe spaces and educational and vocational opportunities for girls and women who've become victims of the human trafficking.
