State of Georgia County of Bartow Trade Name Registration Pursuant (daily-tribune.com) — A Cartersville self-storage facility at 175 S Morningside Drive is officially registered to operate under the trade name Alpha Self Storage, owned by AOSA Cartersville, LLC. The notice confirms the business focuses on leasing storage units, selling packing supplies, and renting trucks and trailers, in compliance with Georgia trade name laws.
3. Rare, classic, collector vehicles hit auction block at Savoy Museum (newsbreak.com) — Cartersville's Savoy Automobile Museum will host Richmond Auctions' Fall Spectacular on Oct. 16–17, featuring more than 125 classic and collector cars plus 400 pieces of automobilia. Local enthusiasts can see ultra-rare vehicles like the Ridler Award–winning TwelveAir and a 2021 Ford GT Liquid Carbon Edition, with options to bid in person or online.
4. Lady Canes set to host state opener; Cass, Adairsville hit the road (bartowsportszone.com) — Cartersville High's Lady Canes softball team will host a best-of-three Class 5A state playoff opener against Ware County, starting with a Wednesday doubleheader and a possible Thursday game. The case could shape how Georgia courts handle safety and liability for modern lifted trucks, especially after a 2024 law loosened suspension-height limits for newer vehicles.
