Lane Bonney, a Life Scout with BSA Troop 15 at Trinity UMC, has just completed his Eagle Scout Service Project; "Duffel Bags for Foster Kids". Lane conducted a community wide collection of new and slighly used duffel bags with 13 collection sites in the Cartersville area, this included local churches, businesses and CHS, throughout the month of May. The goal for the project was 200 bags. Lane was able to collect 675 bags that he has donated to Bartow County DFCS that will be distributed to the foster children.

Troop 15 is chartered as a community outreach program of Trinity United Methodist Church, Cartersville GA. We will operate a fun, open and exciting BSA troop structured and managed to achieve the Aims of Scouting which include: character development, citizenship training, and personal fitness.
