
Experienced restaurateurs Rene Fountain, Mitch Abney and Wayne Robinson, owners of Calhoun Foods, LLC, will celebrate the grand opening of their Bojangles’ franchise location at 459 East Main Street in Cartersville, Ga. on Tuesday, March 12.
Situated just east of Highway 41 between downtown Cartersville and I-75, this marks the fifth Bojangles’ under the Calhoun Foods, LLC ownership group. Throughout the Atlanta market there are now 30 Bojangles’ restaurants, including 23 franchise and 7 company-owned locations.

Bojangles’ attracts customers with its proprietary, made-from-scratch fare, offering a flavor profile unlike anything in the market and breakfast served all day. The menu features southern classics with Bojangles’ one-of-a kind flavors, including fresh, never frozen, hand-breaded chicken, buttermilk biscuits, sandwiches, flavorful fixin’s and Legendary Iced Tea® steeped the old-fashioned way.
The new restaurant features drive-thru and in-store dining beginning with breakfast and continuing through dinner late into the evening. Spanning 3,500 square feet, this location carries on the Bojangles’ warm, family-friendly tradition in a spacious environment. The restaurant can seat up to 86 guests and offers free Wi-Fi as well as two flat screen televisions. The unique interior and exterior design enhancements reflect Bojangles’ shift towards fast-casual dining, blending quick-service with a casual dining atmosphere. The new restaurant also significantly contributes to the local economic landscape through investment dollars, construction projects and job creation, employing approximately 60 local residents.
