Success at Village at Waterside

Seven lots have been sold at Village at Waterside since Aug. 2011, with one additional lot under contract.

Village at Waterside lakeside community is experiencing tremendous success in an area that has been severely affected by the down housing market. In the last 12 months, only 20 lots total have sold in Bartow County. This neighborhood is located in the fabled "Ring of Death," a J-shaped ring of land surrounding Atlanta’s urban core where new home sales are competing against foreclosures and distressed sales. However, buyers at Waterside have proven that there is still demand for quality regardless of the exurban location.

"The Village at Waterside offers the perfect blend of lake living and city convenience," Ed Brush developer said. "Our unique location has allowed us to achieve great success in spite of the market. Buyers come here to enjoy unparalleled amenities and affordable pricing on beautiful lakeview lots."

Homebuyers like Michael and Charlotte Bennett have taken advantage of the tremendous deals at Village at Waterside. The couple purchased a lot with views of the lake in June 2011 and are now in the process of building a permanent residence at the community. They have already sold their home in East Cobb and are preparing to move in August.

"We've always wanted a home with views of the lake," Michael Bennett said. "Village at Waterside is well-maintained and offers everything we could ask for. And with the LakePoint Sporting Community and Town Center being built three miles away, we'll have access to even more great amenities."
