Anheuser-Busch Cartersville Brewery To Host Pop-Up Tours

Tours will take place on select Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays June 1 through Sept. 2 and advance reservations are required.

CARTERSVILLE, GA — You may have seen Anheuser-Busch's Cartersville Brewery in the 2018 Budweiser Super Bowl spot, which ranked number 3 in USA Today’s Ad Meter, highlighting that the local breweries heritage as being the brewer that supplies water for disaster relief efforts.

This summer, the brewery will open its doors for pop-up tours, giving guests a chance to see an inside look of the company's brewing process. .

Tours will take place on select Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays June 1-September 2 and advance reservations are required. The brewery last opened in 2015 for limited summer tours, which sold out quickly, so guests are encouraged to book now at www.budweisertours.com.

Tour dates are scheduled for June 1-3; July 6-8; Aug. 3-5 and Aug. 31 to Sept. 2. Times for the tours include:

  • Fridays: 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
  • Saturdays: 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
  • Sundays: noon, 2 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

The tour, which lasts 60 to 90 minutes, provides a unique behind-the-scenes look at the art of brewing Budweiser. Highlights of the tour include visits to brewing, the lagering and finishing cellars, packaging, and a sample directly from a finishing tank for those 21 and older.

Additionally, guests will be given the opportunity to see where Budweiser’s newest addition to its Reserve Collection – Budweiser Freedom Reserve Red Lager – is brewed. The Cartersville brewery is the only brewery in the U.S. brewing this beer, which was specially brewed by Budweiser’s own veterans and builds on Budweiser’s long-standing support of American veterans with a portion of proceeds sold this summer benefiting Folds of Honor -- a nonprofit organization providing educational scholarships to military families.

Throughout the unique experience, guests ages 21 and older will have a chance to sample Anheuser-Busch products and visit a pop-up gift shop to find something special to commemorate their visit to the brewery, including Georgia-specific attire and other Anheuser-Busch souvenirs.

The tours cost $25 for guests ages 21 and older and $10 for guests ages 13-20. Guests under the age of 13 will not be permitted to join the tour. The Anheuser-Busch Cartersville Brewery opened in 1993 – celebrating its 25th anniversary this year – and brews beer that is exported to all 50 states and 40 countries.

Please note that guests are required to wear closed-toe shoes during the tour for their safety. The Anheuser-Busch Cartersville Brewery is located at 100 Busch Drive NE.
