At-Risk adults are persons over age 65 or persons 18 or older who are mentally or physically incapacitated or persons with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia.

Frequently, situations arise where an at-risk adult appears to be abused, neglected, or exploited. Often, the public and law enforcement do not know how to handle these situations.
The GANE app allows quick access to reporting and resource agencies, applicable laws related to crimes against elderly and disabled persons, a link to report missing adults, screening tools to assess abuse and neglect, and a host of other valuable resources.
There are two components to the app: one component is restricted to law enforcement and the other component is for the public. It is currently available for Apple, Android and Windows mobile devices.
A free download is available through iTunes for Apple by searching EyeOn App GANE, through the Google Play Store for Androids by searching Georgia abuse neglect exploitation EyeOn App LLC and through the Windows Store by searching Georgia abuse neglect.
For law enforcement, an activation code is required to access the special features. For more information on the app, please contact Ravae Graham at Ravae.Graham@dhs.ga.gov.
