Author To Discuss Underwater Ghost Towns Of North Georgia
Attendees will hear about some of the lakes located in North Georgia including why they were formed and who built them.
From Bartow Museum: Join us as we welcome author, Lisa Russell, to the Bartow History Museumon the 17th of October, 2018 at noon. Russell will discuss her book, Underwater Ghost Towns of North Georgia.Attendees will hear about some of the lakes located in North Georgia including why they were formed and who built them. She will share what happened to the people from the “drowned” towns. Russell will also explore the thought, What if? What if the rivers had been left alone and so many lakes had never been made? A book signing will follow. Members can attend for free. The session is included in the general admission to the museum for non-members.
