If I could pretend for a minute that Martin Luther King, Jr. was merely sleeping over the past 64 years... What would I imagine he would think whenever he Awakened? How would he say the world has changed since he fell asleep on April 4th, 1968?
It's not perfect and far from over, but remember to embrace the progress, as well as, recognizing what needs changed. The Dream is becoming more real everyday. At one point in History... There was NO grey...Only black and white. Today, WE REALLY ARE equal... Equal to choose to Love or to Hate. Equal to be who we are. And, equal to love those differences that make everyone of us uniquely different. I can be a white girl doing HipHop Music and Darius Rucker can be a black man making Country Music. And we can all work together, if we choose to.
Progress has been made. But hate will ONLY be conquered with love.
