Here are the top three stories today in Cartersville:

  1. Bartow County's Christopher Guice recovered his food truck after it was stolen from A. Dam's Food Truck Park. Due to his own investigation, Guice's Sweet P'z food truck was recovered in DeKalb County off I-285 in a motel parking lot. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
  2. Discussions of the Sept. 15 Cartersville City Council agenda mostly revolved around proposed rezoning, purchases and text amendment cases. Official voting actions also approved a transfer of 8.5 acres of land along Carter Grove Boulevard. This land will be used for the construction of the Cartersville Fire Department Station No. 5.
