Everbridge will use what’s called an escalating messaging system, meaning it will utilize methods of communications residents provide until it receives confirmation that an alert has been delivered, Bartow County Emergency Management Agency told the Tribune.
For example, if a resident does not answer the primary form of contact — such as a phone call — Everbridge will then utilize other preferred contact methods until it obtains delivery confirmation.
