The two camps — Winter Wonderland and the Christmas Ornament Camp — are open to children 5 to 10 years of age.

From Bartow History Museum:The Bartow History Museum announces winter camps. Beginning on December 15th from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. the museum will host its 2018 Christmas Ornament Camp. We will take a look at Christmas decorations from our past, learn how to take care of these decorations, and make new decorations with the kids. Registration is $25 and includes one adult and one child. Additional children can be added for $5 each. Then, on January 7th, 2019, the museum will host two half-day camps. Winter Wonderland is scheduled from 9 a.m. 12 p.m. Participants will craft and play games. Find out how families in the past beat the cold. Then from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m., New Year, No Fear is scheduled. It is time to blast into the New Year with no fear. Through games and crafts we will find ways to remember the best things about the previous year, and we will prepare to start off 2019 with a bang. Both half-day camps are open to children 5 – 10 years of age. The cost is $20 per student for one camp and $30 to participate in both camps. Please note that children must be supervised by an adult between sessions. Registration is open for all camps. To register, call 770-387-2774 or email joshuag@bartowhistorymuseum.org.
